Getting better

As some of you know, I'm learning silversmithing. I've been taking lessons from a friend of a friend who is a professional silversmith. I just completed a bracelet for Debra's cousin on the occasion of her bat mitzvah. The design is the historical development of the letters of her name. The first is from the 10th century BCE (middle picture), the second is from the 5th (top picture on right), and the last two are from Qumran and date about the 2nd century BCE (top left and bottom). Her name is Mical, so the letters are מיכל.
